The 10 COR.E Disciplines of High Potential and Performance

Discipline 1: Awareness

You constantly observe and assess yourself and everything around you. You understand that what is true for you is not necessarily the Truth. At any given moment, you are aware of who you are, why you are who you are, and how you are reacting to your circumstances.

Discipline 2: Acceptance

You accept what is. You don’t beat yourself up. You accept all aspects, traits, quirks, etc., of yourself and others. You don’t take things or people personally, and don’t look at anything that happens as more than it actually is. Instead, you accept that what has just occurred has occurred as it did, and don’t catastrophize any particular experience, circumstance, or action. You understand that everything is perfectly ok, just as it is.

Discipline 3: Conscious Choice

You know that the more overall energy you have, the more present and sharp you are and the quicker and better you are able to make the best choices. You practice discernment and non-judgment and simultaneously use logic, emotion, and intuition to make quick and accurate decisions. You know that you are always at choice, and so, instead of reacting, you respond by adjusting to given circumstances.

Discipline 4: Trusting in the Process

While you always want to perform at your best at any moment, there’s always a focus on long-term growth. You understand your true goals, so instead of jumping into the latest and greatest new/best thing, you have faith in your current plan, and work that plan to excellence. You look for the lesson in each experience as you constantly review your plan and makes shifts as needed.

Discipline 5: Authenticity

You understand that while we are always searching for the greatest and most powerful expression of ourselves as people, we are each a once-in-all-history unique person. As we masterfully walk to the beat of our own drum, we inspire others to do the same. By being no one other than ourselves, we automatically express high levels of energy and instead of effortful output, our performances, and indeed, our lives, are effortless works of art.

Discipline 6: Fearlessness

You embrace the unknown and take reasonable chances without worry or doubt. You realize that fear does not exist in the present moment, and that whatever is unfolding will ultimately serve you. You know there is nothing to lose, and therefore, nothing to fear.

Discipline 7: Confidence

You are a master in being. You know that confidence is an internal capability, and instead of waiting for something to happen to bring confidence, you choose to create it. Experience (and your attitude) has taught you to trust yourself and let go of any concern about what might happen. Since you know that you can handle whatever occurs and will grow and learn from it, you embrace all outcomes. You are able to summon up feelings of success, peace, power, and calm and use them to create any experience you choose.

Discipline 8: Connection

You are aware, not only of the influence each person, place, and thing has on you, but also of your influence on them. You are also aware that no moment occurs in isolation, in that each event is influenced by the past and connected to the future. You know that by tapping into the power of anabolic energy around you, you are never alone, and can play at the top of your game, without trying to force anything to happen.

Discipline 9: Presence in the Moment

You focus on one action at a time. You cannot be distracted, as you are totally present to the task and experience at hand. Your intuition is alive and you are open to each moment as it occurs. Once that moment is over, you put all your energy into the next one.

Discipline 10: 100% Energetic Engagement

You play full out. You know that true power can only be achieved through powerful intentions, full commitment, and engaging 100% of your energy into action.
